Winter Moth

Winter Moth Caterpillars

The Winter Moth can be seen during the months of November and December, flying around your outside lights in the evening time. These moths lay eggs at this time on your trees allowing their eggs to hatch during the early spring. Typically, the caterpillars may be seen during the months of April and May. When the eggs hatch they are attached to the early spring foliage and they begin eating through the sweet leaves. When gone untreated the leaves will begin to fall as the caterpillars have eaten them to the point they start to die off. When a tree begins to loose their leaves early, the tree then struggles to provide the proper nutrients to the tree to maintain it's health. By treating the caterpillars you are helping to protect your trees and maintaining their overall health.
Hemlock Woolly Adelgid

Hemlock Woolly Adelgid

The Hemlock Woolly Adelgid is an insect found on Hemlocks and Spruce trees. It feeds by sucking sap from their host, Hemlock and Spruce Trees. When infested the Hemlock Wolly Adelgid causes the tree to lose needles and not produce new growth. Hemlocks infected will frequently become grayish-green rather than a healthy dark green. The insect can be identified by its egg sacs, resembling a small piece of cotton that is clinging to the underside of the hemlock branches. This is a destructive pest that gravely threatens the eastern hemlock and when gone untreated will start to kill of the trees.
Asian Longhorned Beetle

Asian Longhorned Beetle

The Asian Longhorned Beetle Tree infestations can be detected by looking for exit holes 3/8 to 3/4 inches in diameter often in the larger branches of the crowns of infested trees. Dead and dying tree limbs or branches and yellowing leaves when there has been no drought also indicate an infestation. All infested trees should be removed by certified arborists, tree care ptofessionals, to ensure that the process is completed properly. To prevent further spreading of the infestation the trees must be removed, there is no affective treatment. The tree trunks, branches and linbs must be chipped onsite and the chipping and debris must be carried away in a sealed container or truck. During the removal process, the stump should be ground down below ground level.

Our Crew at Work

The tree guys who came to do my job were so professional, did the job efficiently, they left my yard clean and they cleaned up all their debris. The work was amazing to watch with the crane and the chip truck, I felt like a 5 year old watching in the windows while they completed the tree work.

Thank you for your prompt response to my tree spraying. This year the catapillars were eating my leaves and after you came out to spray they were no longer a threat to my trees. I plan on using you every year to spray my trees for the catapillars.

Thank you for your prompt and professional tree service.
